Behind the camera

Timeless Creations Photography is DarLa Reid, working out of Cedar City and travelling for the rest of it — Parowan for the high school teams, St. George for engagements and bride and groom sessions, and as far as Manti when a wedding day calls for it.

The work runs from wedding days and bridal sessions through to seniors, families, new babies, headshots and the local squads. Sessions are relaxed and mostly outdoors, in the barns, bridges, parks and backyards that already look like southern Utah.

When a session needs a set, it gets built — the Color Country Cloggers were photographed on a fairy-tale set of oversized mushrooms and flowers made for the occasion. Prints, enlargements and Christmas cards are ordered through the studio once the proofs are back.
